Inmany applications where cumbersome special solutions are required, a simple standard e-chain ® can be used instead. IPA tests confirm that the standard e-chains ® from igus ® meet the requirements in cleanrooms and have been "Tested and certified as very good!". Noise level ≤ 37dB(A) - a measurement conducted by the Rhineland Technical Inspection Authority (TÜV Rheinland) in May 2002 indicates a value of ≤ 46dB(A) at 2m/s and with an unsupported length of 1.5m with series E6.52.100.100.0, and all this with at least 10dB(A) sound pressure level generated by external noise.
