Making a system "lean" means that its individual components are ideally matched to each other, making it more optimised. The aim is to avoid waste and increase e ffi ciency. This is achieved in two ways: from the customer's point of view in order to fulfil their requirements, and from the producer's point of view in order to improve productivity and e ffi ciency. igus ® implements these lean properties in its energy supply systems in order to make time-saving e-chain ® assembly possible, while also enabling quick and easy harnessing with cables.
