30 The International Relations and Promotion Department initiates, organizes and coordinates activities related to the Academy’s cooperation with more than eighty foreign art universities as well as scientific and cultural institutions. These activities include: • student and staff exchange, • coordination of internships, • annual International Staff Training Week, • coordination of Visiting Professor/Artist Programme, • initiation and support for international projects and programmes, • organisation of exhibitions and other artistic events with the participation of guests from abroad. The department also recruits foreign students for the inter- disciplinary Master’s programme with English as the language of instruction. Moreover, our tasks include the promotion of the Academy on the international and national stage, including the maintenance of the website and social me- dia, production of promotional materials and gadgets and contacts with the media. In all its activities the department tries to contribute to the process of internationalization of education at the Academy.
